Occupy Movement facing eviction orders across North America   2 comments

The Occupy Movements are facing eviction orders after judge’s are making rulings that freedom of speech arguments just aren’t strong enough to trump enforcement of bylaws.  The eviction orders will keep the Occupy phenomena at the forefront of news coverage.

The Occupy movement has been decrying corporate greed and aims to highlight the concentration of the world’s wealth in the hands of very few.

It began in Manhattan with Occupy Wall Street and crossed the border into Canada on Oct. 15, when encampments began to be set up in cities across the country.

  1. Problem with Occupy Movement is that it has deteriorated into a Social injustice platform. Loss of focus. Left wing rhetoric. If they had focused on Wall St, they would have had a chance. Now all we hear is who got pepper sprayed and whose tents are empty. We also hear gripes against governments that have been elected with majorities and how bad they are. Of course there is no thought to those that actually voted for those majorities
. No sir, the arrogance continues, they insist they speak for 99 % of the population. Its really pretty sad to see how disorganized they are. Oh well, maybe next time we get screwed, there will emerge a protest with some real conviction. My hope is that its not made up of 1000 Tyler Durdens.

  2. I think you hit it dead on friend.
