Middle East Hellhounds meeting violent ends   Leave a comment

For decades two dictators in the Middle East caused much trouble and despair.  Saddam Hussein in Iraq invaded neighbouring countries and Muammar Gaddafi in Libya funded and supported various terrorist groups.  They both terrorized their own people.  They considered themselves to be secular Arab nationalists and revolutionaries.  But what they really did was cause much pain and grief.

Saddam was captured by U.S. military forces and subsequently hung by an Iraqi tribunal.  Gaddafi was captured and executed in Libya near his hometown of Sirte.  Both of these rabble rousers are now out of the scene for good.  And the world is better off for it.

A more recent agitator to the scene, Osama Bin Laden, was taken out by U.S. Navy Seals earlier this year.  This persona non grata didn’t rule a country, but he commanded radical Islamic suicide terrorists.  With his demise his movement seems to be faltering.

So three very bad apples are no more.  Lets celebrate this moment while we can, as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, there will be more evil egotistical hellions to take their places.
