The Heights of Hollywood celebrities and World leaders, as if it matters.   Leave a comment

Tall, small, big, short, it makes no difference. Unless of course you are a middle linebacker or a jockey. Despite the trivial nature of this post, there are some surprising revelations here.  Never realized Snooky was 4’8″, and Seth Green was 5’4″.

There is a bit of redundancy here, it was necessary to include as many people as possible.

They are contradictory. They don’t make sense.

Donald Trump Takes Breakthrough Wonder Drug to Enlarge his Hands   Leave a comment

Marco Rubio escalated his slate of recent attacks on Donald Trump’s looks Sunday, telling supporters at an event Sunday night that Trump can’t be trusted because he has “small hands.”

He was responding to Trump’s habit of calling him “Little Marco.” And while Rubio freely admitted he’s the shorter one of the two, he said he was baffled by the size of Trump’s hands.

“He’s like 6’2” which is why I don’t understand why his hands are the size of someone who is 5’2″. Have you seen his hands?” Rubio said during a rally in Roanoke, Virgina. “You know what they say about men with small hands? You can’t trust them. You can’t trust them.”

Rubio’s insult appears to stem from an argument between Trump and Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter. Carter once called Trump a “short-fingered vulgarian” in an article in Spy magazine.

But the Donald countered by commissioning a rogue scientist from the University of South-Central by North-South Alabama who has developed a hand enhancing drug called ‘Vipawagra’.  The drug is made from the palmenisca plant of northern Argentina.  It has been used to increase the size of horse hoofs ridden by the Gauchos. Fatter hoofs help the horses swim across raging rivers. The rogue scientist, Doctor Alvin Mellon, claims his ‘Vipawagra’ can increase hand size of an average man by 100 percent within 2 days.

Mr. Trump took the drug right after Rubio’s inflammatory small hands tomfoolery.  Trump was so agitated and annoyed at the small hands joke that he was prepared to do anything to make his hands bigger.  As the recent photo below illustrates, it seems to have worked.

hands

Trump’s most recent wife Melania has been quoted as saying that the drug doesn’t seem to only affect Donald’s hands.  Malania said a couple days ago, while brandishing a huge satisfied smile, the effect of the drug seems to be moving down Donald’s body to the you-know-what-area.

The KKK makes the News   Leave a comment

§

Donald Trump and the KKK.  These two entities are linked in the news today. The ‘Donald’ didn’t disavow the Klan quickly enough according to some pundits.  David Duke, KKK Grand Wizard, is purportedly supporting Trump. Donald has to make sure that he doesn’t absorb that support without making it crystal clear that he is politically correct and does not in any way accept that support.  American politics is rivetingly hilarious.

“The KKK Took My Baby Away”

She went away for the holidays
Said she’s going to L.A.
But she never got there
She never got there
She never got there, they say

The KKK took my baby away
They took her away
Away from me
The KKK took my baby away
They took her away
Away from me

Now I don’t know
Where my baby can be
They took her from me
They took her from me
I don’t know
Where my baby can be
They took her from me
They took her from me

Ring me, ring me ring me
Up the President
And find out
Where my baby went
Ring me, ring me, ring me
Up the FBI
And find out if
My baby’s alive
Yeah, yeah, yeah

o o o o o o
o o o o o o

She went away for the holidays

The KKK took my baby away

They took my girl
They took my baby away

Bernie Sanders and ‘The Donald’ win big victories in New Hampshire   Leave a comment

aaline

Billionaire Donald Trump has won the New Hampshire primary in the Republican race for US presidential nominee.

Left-wing Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has taken the Democratic vote, pushing ahead of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

It marks a dramatic win for two outsider candidates who have made rallying against mainstream politics central to their campaigns.

State officials predicted a historic turnout in the New Hampshire vote.

It is the second state to vote following last week’s Iowa caucuses won by Ted Cruz for the Republicans and Mrs Clinton for the Democrats.

Mrs Clinton has congratulated Mr Sanders, but said in a speech she would continue to fight for every vote in the campaign. Ohio Governor John Kasich came second in the Republican race, with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Mr Cruz still vying for third place.

In America Politics and Football are Treated the Same   Leave a comment

aaline

Coverage of Super Bowl 50 and the current American political race are treated by the media in very similar ways. Incessant analysis, comparisons, strengths and weaknesses, developing strategies, gaffs and ultimately predictions on who will win.

CNN completely overdoes it. Infinite mind bending discussion by panels filled with narcissistic, self-centered know-it-alls.  To CNN, the Republican and Democrat nomination races are sport. The CNN producers desperately hope the races gets nasty and as brutal as an NFL 4th and inches fullback charge into the line.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau brings back Stephan (the English language butcher) Dion into his cabinet   Leave a comment

Stephan Dion is a federal Canadian politician from Quebec. He is sort of a big wheel in the Liberal party as he ran for the leadership a few years ago and has much seniority within the party.  He comes across as a sort of geek.  But his major problem: he tries to speak English. As with many Quebecers, the English language is a hurdle they just can’t get over.

Listening to Dion try to speak English is as painful as listening to Freddy Kruger scrape his claws along a marble wall. Pronunciation Stephan, there are tutors out there that can help.

Editorial Cartoon by Graeme MacKay, The Hamilton Spectator Ð Friday January 8, 2016 Ultra-low-cost carrier planning flights from Hamilton airport Canada's latest airline will unveil its plans for flights out of Hamilton airport on Wednesday. That's when Dean Dacko, chief commercial officer of NewLeaf Travel, the country's new ultra-low-cost air carrier, will unveil the company's plans for making Hamilton one of its hubs. Details of the announcement remain a closely guarded secret, but in a news release airport officials promise "NewLeaf plans to revolutionize the Canadian travel market." NewLeaf's bare-bones website promises its service will feature "No more extra costs for things you don't want" and "You pay for your seat and the rest is up to you." Wednesday's announcement will include details on non-stop routes, pricing and booking. NewLeaf announced its interest in the city in June, saying it would make its headquarters in Winnipeg with bases in Hamilton and Kelowna. Ultra-low-cost carriers Ñ also called no-frills or budget airlines Ñ offer lower fares, making up for lower ticket prices by charging for extras such as food, priority boarding and baggage. The largest such operator is United States-based Southwest Airlines. Aircraft and crews for the NewLeaf flights will be supplied by Kelowna-based Flair Airlines. Ultra-low-cost carriers are new to Canada's aviation industry and Hamilton airport executives have been keen to get at least one located here as a boost to their long-cherished dream of turning the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport into a passenger destination. While they have long argued that 2 million people live within an hour's drive of the airport, its passenger history has been one of soaring hopes followed by bitter disappointment as more than 20 airlines have come and gone through the facility. Passenger traffic peaked in 2003 at about 1 million when the airport was the eastern hub for WestJet, before the airline moved the

By Graeme MacKay, Editorial Cartoonist, The Hamilton Spectator - Thursday August 27, 2015 Declining dollar has Canadians rethinking cross-border shopping habits Many Canadians are wondering if they can cram some last-minute cross-border travel plans into the next few weeks while others are already deep into back-to-school shopping excursions. And money Ð more than ever before Ð is taking precedent in the planning. While it has not been definitively declared a recession, CanadaÕs shrinking economy certainly has some residents concerned. According to a recent survey from digital offers RetailMeNot.ca, 73% of Canadians are worried about the nationÕs economy. JulyÕs interest-rate cut was made in hopes of stimulating growth, but only 31% of survey respondents feel confident that the Canadian dollar will strengthen before the end of the year Ð making it more important than ever for Canadians to stretch their income further. The current state of the economy has Canadians paying more attention to their spending habits. Sixty-five per cent agree that itÕs important to stick to a budget no matter the personal sacrifice, with 62% stating that cutting back has them missing out on certain activities. Research shows other habits Canadians are adopting to save money include buying everything on sale (72%), limiting meals at restaurants (62%), searching for coupon and promo codes (49%) and taking public transportation or carpooling (18%). ÒNearly half of Canadians are worried about being able to afford everything they need this year,Ó says Kristen Larrea for RetailMeNot, Inc., operators of the world's largest marketplace for digital offers. ÒHowever, with a little savvy spending, consumers should be able to satisfy their needs and wants throughout 2015. Simple behavioural changes, such as utilizing price comparison tools and checking for online promo codes, will help Canadians maximize their purchasing power, so they can get more for their money.Ó (Source: Toronto Sun) http://

Sarah Palin Jumps on the Donald Trump Bandwagon   Leave a comment

Sarah has been out of the limelight for a while now, so I guess she needed a media fix to quench her uncontrollable narcissism.

Or maybe the Sarah has bigger aspirations. Does another run at the Vice-Presidential position sound like something Sarah would crave?

Ames, Iowa (CNN)Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump Tuesday at an Iowa campaign stop, delivering a raucous speech full of Palin-isms during her return to the presidential campaign trail.

“Looking around at all of you, you hard working Iowa families, you farm families and teachers and teamsters and cops and cooks, you rock and rollers and holy rollers!” Palin said. “You all make the world go around and now our cause is one.”

The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate said she was “proud to endorse” Trump.

The official endorsement will be followed by a joint appearance on Wednesday morning in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The backing could prove pivotal for Trump in Iowa, where he’s deadlocked with Ted Cruz in a battle to win the February 1 caucuses traditionally dominated by conservative voters. Palin, a tea party favorite since 2008, has spoken warmly of Cruz in the past and her backing of Trump could blunt the Texas senator’s momentum in the final weeks before voting.

A unattributed photograph emerged late today showing Sarah Palin taking a selfie in a Tulsa hotel room. Also in the selfie is “the Donald” himself. He is sitting on the bed contemplating something.  Sarah seems very sparky.  Will she get the go ahead from Donald to be his running mate?  Maybe if she lets Donald have his way with her anytime he wants, she may get on the ticket.

Was there some extracurricular activity going on here?

Rumour has it that the photo was taken through a one-way mirror by a private detective working for the Jeb Bush campaign.
