Great design concept. Ahs and hoorays from the gallery! Too bad we have politics to deal with or this may have already existed. The red tape on the space program has reached Andromeda by now. Where are the spacecraft to deliver it???… Keep pushing the envelope my collegues. Don’t ever give up. I’m a Jack McDevitt fan now, a successor of the legends like Clarke, and I hope to see it in my next lifetime. Maybe…

If you look closely at the planet, that sure looks like North America as the land mass down there.

It has always been my argument that space ships should be built like aircraft carriers, instead of throw away egg carton thin construction.
